Nov 28 was a perfect So Cal day for a cruise up PCH to Santa Barbara. We stopped at Oxnard on the way up. then drove onto Stearns Wharf.  We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Moby Dick, and concluded with a General Meeting to plan our next trip.

On Sat Nov 9 the Unique Car Club was invited to join Raider Nation to honor our veterans at Long Beach VA Hospital.  We set up a delicious home cooked BBQ buffet, a stage with a mixture of DJ & live entertainment, and our classic cars on display.  We guided the veterans representing all service branches from their rooms to join our lawn party outside.  We presented each vet with this personalized certificate honoring their service and sacrifice. July 13 was a beautiful Saturday for our cruise: sunny skies and light traffic. We had 7 cars cruise out the 210 to the 330 past Running Springs to Baldwin Lake Stables.  After a fun hour’s ride at 7,000 ft, we cruised to a delicious lunch in Big Bear with some “relax time” enjoying the lake view. We took 38 back past Sugarloaf, cresting at 8,500 ft.  All 7 cars ran perfectly with no trouble from the altitude, the long hill climb, and the warm weather.    Slideshow:

July 28th was the best party of the summer celebrating Jackie Palmer’s birthday in 70's Style!  The giant crowd included many Unique members,  Jackie’s daughters, great disco music, a video show, and even a magician! Click more to see photos from the party.

Hermosa Beach sponsored their annual car show at the Hermosa Pier on May 6.  Despite some light rain and cool temperatures, the show was well attended by locals and tourists.  Our 3 entries included Betsy & Jay, Omar, & Don Feeney.

New Non-Profit Status:  The Unique Car Club has been granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt status as a public charity by the IRS. This means our members and guests may take a tax deduction on any contributions to our club to the extent allowed by law.
